Idea (short)

“Idea” tells the story of a harried teaching assistant holding a series of online meetings with his students about their personal essays. His attempts to help them find meaning in their life stories gradually forces him to question the meaning of his own. It’s a short film about the impossibility of making sense of what happens to us...and the necessity of trying to do it anyway.

“Idea” started its life as a short play, developed at the Drama League and New York Theatre Workshop. The film had its world premiere in the BELIFF Film Festival in London and its U.S. premiere at the Adirondack Film Festival. Use Your Words (Short)

“Use Your Words” is a short film written by Sarah Saltwick and co-produced by Michelle and Sarah. It tells the story of a blossoming friendship between two lonely mothers, which is plunged into jeopardy when they discover the rape in one’s past lives on in the other’s present.
